I love this image. It is one of my first attempts with a digital camera and I am thrilled with the result, that is why I decided to use it for my web site header.

Where in the World?
The beautiful archipelago of Santorini is part of the Cyclades group of Greek islands in the southern Agean Sea. Once a single island, the caldera is all that remains after one of the largest volcanic eruptions the earth has ever witnessed, some 3500 years ago.
Santorini is now a fantastic holiday destination with majestic views from all around the shear cliffs of the caldera and charming beach resorts dotted around the outside coastline of the island.
